Globetrotting - Morocco

When in Morocco, Keith and I had the amazing opportunity to explore some of the countryside. Which meant we got to enter the edge of the Sahara! It was incredible to be driving along the road, and to all of a sudden see giant sand dunes rise out of nowhere. We rode camels about an hour into the desert at sunset and spent a night between these huge sand dunes. It was unforgettable. So was the rest of the country side. Morocco is a beautiful place, full of mountains, incredible vistas and desert. I didn't get a chance to explore as much of it as I'd like, but I'll just have to return one day!

Fall Colors

Fall is one of my favorites seasons. The coziness, the colors, the produce, the release from the heat... as much as I love summer, I welcome fall with open arms. This weekend, I was so enamored with the vivid colors of the foliage, I could not resist taking some photos! Enjoy!

Art & Alice Keller's 60th Anniversary

I'm blessed to have a wonderful family - and most of that is due to my grandparents: Art and Alice Keller. I think it's a true testament to a couple's strength that for their 60th anniversary, nearly everyone in the family made it to southern Illinois for a dinner celebration. I remember their 40th and 50th wedding anniversaries as big parties and a large crowd of friends and family, but this one was so sweet, intimate and really brought everyone together. Happy Anniversary, Grandma and Grandpa!

Globetrotting - Marrakech

I can't imagine myself not liking many places. That's part of the reason why I have such an insatiable travel itch. But, there are few places that have surprised me with just how much I liked them. Morocco was one of those places. I was keen on visiting in the first place because of the interesting culture and of course the film, Casablanca. I just had no idea how much it would grow on me. Now - I'm in such a hurry to return. The food, the noises, the colors, the smells, the people, the atmosphere... it was all incredible! I definitely recommend Morocco to anyone who enjoys engaging adventures. Here are some pictures from Marrakech:

Everyday Occurrences

One of the true joys of photography is just being able to capture everyday life. Some of my personal favorites aren't from any pre-planned event, but were taken while visiting with friends and family or taking a walk around my block. Enjoy!
